The delicious New Orleans classic sandwich recipe is now made keto, low-carb, grain-free, and gluten-free. Homemade fat head dough rolls are stuffed with deli meats, cheeses, and the authentic olive salad.
Make the Fat Head Rolls recipe for the bread for these sandwiches.
For the Olive Salad:Combine all ingredients in a bowl or mason jar. Stir or shake together to incorporate all together.
Place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Overnight is even better to let all flavors marinate.
To Assemble the Sandwiches:Hollow out a small section of each side of the roll. Be sure to not go all the way through and create a hole.
Place each roll side down and in each hollowed-out section, fill with some of the olive salad.
On top of one side place 4 slices of salami and 2 slices of ham. On the other side, place 1 slice of provolone and 1 slice of swiss. If you have large slices you can cut them in half and stack both on there or just put 2 halves on each.
Place each side together for a fully assembled sandwich. Press down slightly with the palm of your hand to ensure it will hold together. Slice in half and enjoy.
