If freezing slices, cubes, or chunks, cut them into the big or large-sized pieces you prefer.Place watermelon cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze for 1 hour. After 1 hour, place the flash-frozen watermelon chunks in an air-tight container or sealable bag. Label with the date and place in the freezer to continue freezing until solid.
If freezing puree or juice, blend or process the watermelon to the desired consistency. Place the liquid watermelon in an air-tight container with a tight-fitting lid. Label with the date and place it in the freezer.
Store for up to 9 months in the freezer.
