Toast the two slices of bread. I recommend toasting the bread 1 setting darker than you are used to. (helps preserve some crispiness after microwaving)
When the toast is done, butter one side of each slice.
To assemble the sandwich; Flip one slice over and top with 2 pieces of cheese. Top with the other piece of toast. The buttered sides should both be facing out.
Place the sandwich on a microwave-safe plate. Or wrap it first in a wax paper sheet, parchment paper towel/napkin - helps reduce moisture.
Microwave on HIGH for 20-30 seconds, until cheese is melted & gooey hot.
Cut diagonally and enjoy immediately.
