Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a mixing bowl combine the beef and spices, mix by hand to combine.
1 pound ground beef, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ½ teaspoon garlic powder
On a sheet pan lined with foil and with nonstick spray, press the ground beef mixture into a large rectangle square. Measure it out so it is large than the shape of the package of rolls. This is so when it cooks and shrinks it will still be close to the edges/size of the rolls.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until internal temperature is 150°F. Set aside to rest and the juices to reabsorb in the meat as much as possible.Leave the oven on.
Cut the rolls horizontal in the middle. On another sheet pan lined with foil and nonstick spray place the bottom half layer of the rolls.
1 package King's Hawaiian Rolls
Top the rolls with slices of cheese to cover completely. Next goes the ground beef patty and top with another layer of American cheese. Cover with the top half of the rolls.
10 slices American Cheese
In a small microwave-safe bowl melt the butter. Baste the tops and sides of the sliders with the butter. Sprinkle on sesame seeds.
