    Christmas Eve Box Ideas

If you have never heard of the Christmas Eve box tradition but want to enjoy the fun, let's start from where it all started. The Christmas Eve box tradition is believed to have started in Europe as a start festive holiday with something small to break the anticipation of all that comes on Christmas day. It is thought to have started in Germany and then began to be widely enjoyed in the UK as well.  In recent years, the United States has enjoyed this tradition as well.

When I was growing up we were always allowed to open one present from under the treat on Christmas Eve night.  We got to pick which one and I remember shaking and looking over everyone to make my decision carefully. My brother often knew which ones were Lego bricks since the sound was clear what they were when shaken so many years that was his go-to for Christmas Eve. I often opted for clothes, maybe something new to wear on Christmas Day. Whatever you receive or give on Christmas Eve it is all about tradition and memories. To help you start off, I have shared some of my favorite Christmas Eve box ideas.
