Ingredients
To make these yummy recipes, you only need a few staples. These are common ingredients you likely already have in your house. I am sharing 2 recipes, each require just 3 ingredients.
All the flavors in these homemade condiments go well with sweet potato fries. Any neither of them mayonnaise - well because I am not a fan.
Maple Mustard Dip Ingredients
This maple mustard dipping sauce is sweet, spicy, sticky, & tangy. This is a non-dairy & paleo dip that's also a mild one with just a bit of tangy heat from the mustard.
Here is what you will need to make this recipe.
- Maple syrup - the sweet item that is sticky & great for flavor & clinging to the fries.
- Whole-grain mustard - a kick of flavor & texture with the mustard seeds.
- Dijon mustard - great spicy flavor & creamy texture.

Siracha Sour Cream Ranch Dip Ingredients
The Siracha Ranch dipping sauce is cool, creamy, spicy, & herby. This one is a healthy low-fat sweet potato fry dipping sauce that my teens love.
Here is what you will need to make this recipe.
- Siracha hot sauce - for spicy heat.
- Ranch seasoning mix - the classic by Hidden Valley is the best.
- Sour cream - the creamy base for this dipping sauce & mellows out the hot flavor.

How to Make the Sweet Potato Fries Dipping Sauces
For each dip, you need to gather the ingredients listed above. Then follow these easy steps.
All you need is 1 minute to whip these up - so go for it! No cooking either so no excuses.
- Measure & add ingredients to a small mixing bowl.
- Whisk to combine.
- Taste test.
- Optional - adjust if needed (too mild, add more hot sauce - etc)

The recipes are simple, versatile, & customizable which makes them the best fry dips ever.
Try Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. Or use your favorite yellow mustard as alternate for whole grain, if you want a smooth kid-friendly dip without seeds.
Will you go for the spicy ranch or a sweet & savory combination? Why decide, make both!

Storing Dipping Sauces
Both of these dips can be made ahead of time. They store well & safely in the refrigerator in an air-tight container with a lid. It will last for 7 days. I do not recommend freezing either dipping sauce.
What Else Can I Dip Besides Fries?
Besides sweet potato fries, these two homemade gourmet dips pair well with other things. They are also a great condiment served with air fryer crinkle fries & gluten-free chicken nuggets. Try enjoying them with any of the following:

Theses dips were the best. I made them both for my husband and is friends for college football today since we ordered burgers and sweet potato fries to be delivered. Well I made them twice actually. They ate them both so fast I made a second batch. They were even dipping the pork rinds in them too.
